I came across ‘Wild Festivals’ on Facebook and thought it sounded fun. The idea is that you bring yourselves and whatever you want to sleep in and ‘wild’ camp in a field listening to bands play. There are no stalls so you have to bring all your food and drink. Sounds like heaven!
We arrived not really knowing what to expect and found ourselves parked right next to the lake. A perfect spot for the paddleboards.
There was a tiny bit of drizzle on our first night but that didn’t stop us getting the fire pit out. The rest of the weekend was really hot, I even got a bit sunburnt!
We spent a lot of time out on the water trying to get our sea legs, neither of us fell in! But it was really flat lol.
The bands were great and it was brilliant to bring our own food and drink to the main stage area. I was amazed how many dogs were here. Will definitely bring Bailey with us on the next one.
