Our next stop I found in Britstops. It is called Halfpenny Green Vineyard. When we arrived we had lunch and a very nice bottle of white wine that had been grown here.
We went into the farm shop and bought our very own cream tea, including a very nice bottle of sparkling wine that we took back to the van. In the evening we set off on a tour of the vineyard.
For our final two nights we joined a RoadRoamers rally. A friend told us about this Facebook group who organise rally’s so we thought we would give it a go.
What a blast! Lazy days followed by music and singing around the fire pits and toasted marshmallows! What better way to finish our 2 week tour of England and Scotland.
In total we covered 1,500 miles and spent an average of £7.50 a night. We used Search4Sites, Park4Night and BritStops to find the locations.
