In our bedroom the only power sockets were in the back right corner. To be able to reach them meant climbing round the bed, not really very convenient. We decided to add some more on the other side of the bed nearer the door.
This was a new experience for me as my whole experience of electrics was re-wiring a plug. The most difficult part was running the cables round the van as we had to track where the existing cables went. The actual wiring up was relatively easy. If I can do this, anyone can.
