Before we head off on our epic tour of Europe we had a bit of maintenance to do on our van. I tried to get Wike booked in for a service as we have had her a year now. All garages were fully booked so we decided to do it ourselves. The first job to do was to change the oil and oil filter. I have never done this before but Donald has so he talked me through it.
It was really quite easy to do, although it took a lot longer than we had initially thought. Donald had bought all the kit we needed, including a container to catch the used oil. However when I undid it the oil went in a completely different direction to where I had placed the container. Operation ‘clean up oil slick’ began.
