After a nice breakfast we set off to our next stop, The Smugglers Inn in Dawlish. This was a pub stopover with views of the sea, very very distant views of the sea! The pub itself was a bit run down but the people were lovely. When we got there they had saved us a space at the bottom of the car park. It was on a slope so we had to use the chocks. We had a meal in the pub then decided to walk into Dawlish. The path was interesting, it took us past Smugglers Cove, along the SW coast path. This runs along the coast on a very narrow path with no barrier down to the sea. After a drink in an Irish bar we wandered back to the van.
The following morning we took a cycle into Teignmouth to grab some breakfast and see the famous black swans.
