Truro

For our next stop we thought we would try a car park for a spot of ‘wild camping’.  I found this place on Search4Sites and it had some really good reviews.  There are two carparks but the one at the top closes at 6pm.  When we arrived the only space was at the top so we left the van there a went for a walk along the estuary.  The tide was out so the big boats were sitting on the water bed, I do wonder how they stay upright!

When we got back to the car park there was a space in the lower one so I squeezed Wike into it with great amusement from the lady in the ice cream van!

After moving the van several times we found the perfect spot looking out over the estuary.  The tide was beginning to come in so we put the kettle on and watched as the water came in.   Whilst supping our tea we had a look on trip advisor to find a nice restaurant for dinner.  After making a few calls it became clear that all the restaurants were booked up.  We decided to take a walk into town to see what we could find.

Truro is a really pretty town with some interesting buildings.  On the High Street we found an Italian restaurant and managed to get a table for dinner.

We headed back to our car park for a quiet nights sleep.
