So a change of plan saw us heading inland to The Rising Sun Inn at Launceston. We phoned them in the morning and booked a table without realising that it used to be a CCC site, the good news was that it had all the facilities you would want although quite expensive. It was a narrow road to get to it and at one point, we stopped to look for a better route. They had a large field with EHU and the food was really good.
We went for a walk round the local village, but everything was shut, so we headed back to the van to wait for the pub to open.
The weather closed in on us and down came the rain.
